Georgie L. Morgan's Obituary
Georgie L. Morgan, 91, of Culpeper died Friday, June 4, 2010 at Culpeper Regional Hospital. She was born June 13, 1918 in Sweet Springs, WV to the late William and Maude Masters Morgan.
She is survived by her children, Patricia Ruffner, Fred Morgan and his wife, April, Ernest Morgan and his wife, Linda, Paul Morgan, Curtis Morgan and his wife, DeeDee, Drucilla Nichols and her husband, Kenny, Velma Nicolson and Becky Moyers.
Additional survivors include her grandchildren, Angela Morgan, Teresa Early, Connie Owens, Missy Morgan, Cindy Helsley, Sandy Morgan, Wayne Morgan, Michael Creel, Amy Hawley, Danny Morgan, Michelle Starks, Ronda Martin, Cheryl Thacker, Doug Pruitt, Tom Shortridge, Joyce Brown, Jamie Whitaker, Robby Nicolson, Kim Nicolson, Chrissy Dean, Laura Moyers, Lisa Moyers, and Timmie Moyers, 29 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, as well as a host of other family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Freda Louise Morgan, one sister, Alma Morgan, and four brothers, Herskel, Clifford, Larue and Orbry.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brian Romine, Jamie Whitaker, Michael Creel, Adam Bennett, Alan Bennett, Robby Whitaker and Danny Morgan.
