George Necci II
George Angelo Butch Necci II, 61, of Spotsylvania went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 28, 2008.
Butch liked to go hunting and fishing. He was a member of several different clubs in Virginia and Pennsylvania including, Moose, Eagles, American Legion, VFW, 40 & 8, and the Spotsylvania Hunting Club.
He is survived by his wife, Lois A. Necci; three children, Tammy L. Allen of Pennsylvania, George A. Necci III and his wife, Lisa of Pennsylvania, and Arlene B. Necci of Spotsylvania; his mother, Maxine Gundrum Middlesworth of Pennsylvania; one sister, Margaret Parker of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Ralph Gundrum and his wife, Debbie of Pennsylvania and Charlie Gundrum and his wife, Eva of Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, one great granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, George A. Necci I; his stepfather, Peck Gundrum; his son, Brad A. Necci; and grandson, Christian A. Groves.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 4:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels~Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, with the Pastor’s Daniel Stevens and Ben Kistler officiating. Butch’s family will receive friends Wednesday, December 31, 2008 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm.
A service will be held in Pennsylvania at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribuitions may be made to Belmont Baptist Church, 7221 Belmont Road, Mineral Virgina 23117 or to your favorite charity.
