George Aubrey Stroud, Jr.'s Obituary
George Aubrey Stroud, Jr. 84, died on Sunday, October 26, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, George A. Stroud, Sr. and Dorothy Stroud Cardoza; a beloved aunt and uncle, Irene and James Boyd; and a brother, Michael Cardoza.
Survivors are his wife of 64 years, Helen Yeates Stroud; their daughter, Holly Stroud Young and her husband, Lonny Young of Missoula, Montana; son, Ross Stroud and his wife, Deborah Stroud of South Hill, Virginia; brothers, William D. Stroud of Las Vegas, Nevada, James Stroud of Richmond, Virginia, and Jerry Stroud of Richmond, Virginia; sister, Carol C. Wilson of Sandston, Virginia; and grandchildren, Jennifer Shelton, Daniel Stroud, Rae Young Ellen, Billi Rose Young, Jordan Stroud, Kelly Yenias, Timothy Crews, Benjamin Crews and Samuel Crews; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Riverside Church in Culpeper County.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to Gideons International.
