George Washington Simpkins' Obituary
George W. Simpkins, of Spotsylvania, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, August 13, 2023.
George was proud to serve his country during his time in the Army. He retired from the Army after a long career as a Sgt 1st class. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbarie Simpkins; his parents, William and Nora Simpkins; and siblings, Lonnie Simpkins, Lester Simpkins, Beatrice McGhee, and William Simpkins, Jr.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, August 21, 2023 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg.
