George Vernon Miller, Jr.'s Obituary
George Vernon Miller, Jr., 65, of Lignum was called home to the Lord after a lengthy illness on Friday, June 8, 2012 at his residence. He was born December 8, 1946 in Arlington, VA to the late George Miller Sr. and Martha Chapman Miller.
Mr. Miller was a Class A contractor where you could see many of the beautiful homes he built across Northern Virginia. He was an avid Redskins fan and will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Price Miller, three children, Dwayne Miller of Culpeper, Belinda Miller of Culpeper and Christopher Miller of Madison, and four siblings, Teddy Miller of Culpeper, Anna Mae Spickler of Lantana, FL, PeeWee Stenger of PA and Donna Caderet of PA.
Additional survivors include seven grandchildren, Michelle, Angel, Jessica, Travis, Christopher, Louise and Mary Jane, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings, Mary Ellen Wolfrey, Isaac Eugene Miller, Johnny Miller, Sr., Ronnie Lee Miller, Patty Kay Miller.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 10, 2012 from 6 to 8 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 11, 2012 at 11 am at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor Tim Atkins officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Mark Bowers, Allen Bowers, Robbie Miller, Stevie Miller, Mark Brooks and Junior Dyer.
Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper is handling the arrangements.
