George William McGee's Obituary
George William McGee, 62, of Spotsylvania County, VA passed Sunday, April 6, 2025 at his home. He was taken too soon after battling cancer like the rock star that he is.
George took great pride in his work as a heavy equipment operator with Martin Marietta. One of his greatest joys was riding his motorcycle with his friends throughout Virginia and support for the Wounded Warrior rides in the area. He also loved his cats Bella and Angel, they miss him terribly.
George is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer (Talley) McGee; his children, Aaron McGee, Kyle McGee, and Jessica McGee; and sisters, Jewel Myers, Sharon Kugler and Marcella Nave.
He was preceded in death by his father, James F. McGee; mother, Alice Pritchett Dickinson; stepfather, Vanis "Tootie" Dickinson; and brother, James C. McGee.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2025 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg.
In lieu of flowers, Jenny requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations in memory of George to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at StJude.org/donate or to the Wounded Warrior Project at woundedwarriorproject.org/donate.
George will be greatly missed by his family and friends; and especially by his adoring wife Jenny.
