George Lumpkins' Obituary
George Watts Lumpkins, 74, of Fredericksburg passed away Monday, September 28, 2009 at his home.
He was a longtime member of Ely’s Ford Baptist Church.
George is survived by his wife, Gracie Lee Lumpkins; three sons, Wally, David and his wife, Bonnie and Chris Lumpkins, all of Fredericksburg; a daughter, Brenda Lee of North Carolina; eight grandchildren and loving siblings.
George’s family will receive friends Friday, October 2, 2009 from 7:00-9:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service celebrating George’s life will be held Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 11:00 am at the funeral chapel with the Rev. Jim Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in the Nave Family Cemetery.
