George Joseph Karhan, Jr.'s Obituary
George Jospeh Karhan, Jr., 68, of Big Stone Gap, died Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Lonesome Pine Hospital. He was born November 24, 1955, in Cleveland, OH to Lois Ellen Karhan and the late George Joseph Karhan, Sr.
George was a master electrician and was in the process of building his retirement home in Big Stone Gap, VA. He was a former volunteer with the Goldvein Fire Department and an avid gun collector. He enjoyed traveling the world.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Edward Karhan (Theresa) and Scott Karhan (Laura); two nieces, Kaitlyn Karhan and Sarah Karhan; and a special friend, Tressie Daniels.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 6, 2024 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Hans Murdock officiating. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service.
