George Robert Jenkins Jr.'s Obituary
George Robert Jenkins, Jr., passed away on May 12, 2026, at his residence in Rixeyville, VA. He was born on June 20, 1964, in Remington, VA.
He is survived by his parents, Virginia Whetzel and Floyd Whetzel; brothers, Robert Wayne Jenkins (Opal), Allen Whetzel (Lynn), Eddie Whetzel and Robert Whetzel (Lindy); nieces, Samantha (Wade), Brittany (Tucker); nephew, Christopher; his dear friend and caregiver, Sylvia Yancey; a special great-nephew, Michael and his dog, Buster.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Robert Jenkins, Sr.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 2 pm at Fairview Cemetery, Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Pastor Lawrence “Pete” Campbell officiating.
