George Walter Ehredt's Obituary
George Walter Ehredt, 86, of Culpeper died Sunday, October 4, 2015, at Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born January 28, 1929 in Altoona, PA to the late Charles and Catherine Wolfe Ehredt.
He is survived by his wife, Jo DeShong Ehredt; two children, Jay C. Ehredt, Sr. and his wife, Yvonna of Manassas and Jodi Lynn Navarro of Gainesville; one sister, Shirley McKee and her husband, John of Philadelphia; four grandchildren, Jay C. Ehredt, Jr. and his wife, Samantha of Gainesville, Brad T. Ehredt of Manassas, Amanda and Nico Navarro, both of Gainesville; and his Bichon-Frise, Dixie.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings, Mary Dailey, Pat Ehredt, Dick Ehredt and Helen Stultz.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 3 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Johnny Hawkins officiating.
