Genevieve Maxine Kapcar's Obituary
Mrs. Kapcar, born in Cumberland, on August 16, 1936, died Sunday May 29, 2016 at Mary Washington Hospital.
She was a retired nurse, loving wife to Andrew J. Kapcar, mother to Todd A. Kapcar, daughter to Clarence Burton and Edna Hazel Sellers Kniseley and sister to Eugene W. Kniseley and Allan C. Kniseley, all of whom preceded her in death.
Survivors include eight nieces and nephews, Gary E. Kniseley, Donald A. Kniseley (Kendell), Jean Marie Kniseley, Christine Kniseley Meadows (Mark), Maxine Kniseley (Neil), Patty Lou Kniseley, Christina Kniseley Dimond (Colin), Karen Kniseley; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the many caregivers that watched over her and enriched her life over the years.
A funeral mass for Genevieve Maxine Kapcar will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Cumberland, MD.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America or the Alzheimer’s Association.
