Genevieve "Gena" Edwards' Obituary
Genevieve “Gena” Edwards, 66, of Culpeper passed away on Monday, August 19, 2019 at the Adler Center for Caring in Aldie, VA. She was born August 12, 1953 in Albemarle County to the late Boyd and Bessie Pullian Keyser.
She is survived by her former husband, Frank Edwards; two children, Nikii Davis (Jason), and Chris Edwards (Shanice); three grandchildren, Claire, Olivia and Lorelei Davis; nine siblings, Frances Leake (Bill), Alta Menefee, Ruth Mozingo, Ronnie Keyser (Cindy), Roger Keyser, David Keyser (Karla), Charles Keyser (Pat), Harry Keyser, Robert Keyser (Corinda).
Additional survivors include a host of loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by eight siblings, Gladys Backe, Emma Lillard, Alize Berry, Betty Brightwell, Haywood Keyser, Mary Keyser, Tucker Keyser and William Keyser.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Pastor Charles “Cary” Lane officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the H.O.P.E. Center for Cancer Care, 545 Sunset Ln Ste 102, Culpeper, VA 22701.
