Geneva Kibler Compton's Obituary
Geneva “G” Kibler Compton, 96 of Culpeper died Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Compton was born in Mt. Jackson, VA to the late Lodd Aster and Olive Virginia Kelly Kibler.
Geneva is survived by one son, Benjamin F. Compton and his wife, Mary of Doylestown, PA, and two daughters, Shirley Gorman and her husband, James of Culpeper and Barbara Sae-Ngov and her husband, Add of Thailand.
She is also survived by one sister, Evelyn Estes of Culpeper, one son-in-law, Luther Martin, eight grandchildren, Barry Compton of East Greenville, PA, Jacqueline Croce of Souderton, PA, Constance Gorman of Culpeper, Debra Gorman of Unionville, Ron Martin of Arlington, Greg Martin of Rixeyville, Daryl Martin of Vienna and Monica Stover of Rixeyville, 16 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Edward Compton and one daughter, Mary Compton Martin.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 7, 2011 from 6 – 8 pm at Reformation Lutheran Church, 415 Main Street, Culpeper.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 2 pm at Reformation Lutheran Church with the Pastor Brad Hales officiating.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to Reformation Lutheran Church, 415 Main Street, Culpeper, VA 22701.
