Gary Russell Newman's Obituary
Gary Russell Newman, 64, of Madison died Saturday, July 16, 2016 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. He was born October 24, 1951 in Charlottesville to the late Russell and Betty Jenkins Newman.
Mr. Newman as an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, camping and playing his guitar.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sharan Brewer Newman; two sons, Gary “Matt” Matthew Newman and Daniel Joseph Newman, both of Leon; one sister, Brenda Brown; and two brothers, Randolph Watson Newman and Thomas Andrew “Andy” Newman and his wife, Christina.
The family will hold a Celebration of Love and Remembrance on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Brightwood Ruritan Club, 4689 Lillards Ford Rd., Brightwood, VA with Rev. Wayne Yowell officiating.
