Gary was my room mate for a few years and I’d come home from work sometimes open the front door only to see Gary asleep in the chair in the living room with my big fat orange cat in his lap! Both snoring! It was so funny. I miss Gary. He was always kind and funny.
Walmart one year gave out a card with a balloon to associates on their birthday. On Gary’s birthday that year he was passing through layaway where I worked when they stopped him and gave him his card and balloon and I’ll never forget how excited and appreciative he was to receive them. He acted like he’d been given a million bucks. Was so sweet.
I've know Gary since elementary school. I remember his band days quite well. He was always nice and funny to talk to. Made a point to speak to me every time he saw me in walmart. I will miss his smiling face. RIP Gary.
