Gary Edwin Johnson Jr.'s Obituary
Gary Edwin Johnson, Jr., 53, of Fredericksburg passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at his home.
Gary retired from Prince William County where he worked as a field supervisor. He loved the outdoors especially fishing, boating, and being around the water. He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Gary is survived by his wife of 8 years, Maryleen; his mother, June Arlene Johnson; and brother, Jeffrey Johnson, Sr. (Tracy), both of Stafford County; three sisters, Shelley Hancock of Spotsylvania County, Cindy Lorenzo (Fred) of Orange County and Janet Johnson-Walther of Seattle, WA; and numerous other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Edwin Johnson, Sr.; and sister, Marlene Smith.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, Gary’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to ALS at als.org.
