Gary Joe Huey's Obituary
MSG Gary Joe Huey, US ARMY RET, born on July 29, 1948, passed away on June 12, 2019 at the age of 70. Gary was born in Owasso, Oklahoma to Gilbert and Bonnie Huey. He proudly served in the US Army for 20years, during which he was the recipients of the Bronze Star. While traveling in the military Gary met his wife, Yu and together they had two daughters. Once retired from the Army, Gary and his family settled down in Missouri where he worked as a Manager for the department of Employment for 22 years. In his spare time he enjoyed painting, working on model trains and playing his guitar. He also enjoyed writing, whether it was songs to play on his guitar or stories for a book.Gary was also a Pastor and a dedicated servant to the Lord who led many people to find Christ.
Gary is survived by his loving wife, Yu Sun Huey; mother, Bonnie Montgomery; daughters, Sandy and husband Jeff Lowe, HyonMi and husband Thomas Vincent Neff Jr.; grandchildren, Lily Neff, Zachary Lowe and Fiona Lowe; sister, Linda Wallace.
A private service will be held at Culpeper National Cemetery.
