He was lucky to grow up in a loving family of Bruggmans. Dexter was so proud of Gary all his life, he spoke of him fondly, and his grandparents, Bob and Lucille thought he hung the moon. I know he was a lifeline for Lucille in her last year, always keeping in touch with her. They will all be there to welcome him now.

This is Aunt Deanna from Texas. I have so many lovely memories of Gary. When he was only three he had a birthday party at his lake house here in Temple, Tx. I gave him a toy and also some cute Boy Briefs. I do not know what possessed me to buy the briefs but when he opened them he took one look and tossed them across the room. Once when at his Grandparents house here in Texas his cousin Keith and him got real quiet for awhile. No one knew where they were. All of a sudden they came out with every piece of clothes they could found of their Grandpas on. They looked like big huge Clowns with all that clothes. So Funny. The last time I spent time with Gary was back at his Dad's funeral. We meet at the airport in Washington and rented a car together. We spent a couple of days traveling across the beautiful state of Washington. We had lots of time to share stories and we talked about many things. I remember when it was time to get on the plane to come home I glanced over at Gary and he was deep in thought. I just smiled a good bye to him not knowing that would be the last time I would see him. I will dearly miss him every day for the rest of my life.

Damn cuz, I just hate that we didnt make more memories. Life is so short. I will regret not making more time with you. Many years passed and we didnt see each other due to the distance we lived apart. The last time you visited Texas I was fortunate to spend time with you, and will cherish that little bit of time. I really enjoyed being around you. It breaks my heart to know that was, and will be our last time together. I miss you!
So many memories, I could write a book. I'll never forget the day we met. It was first period, our senior year...We were both sitting in the back row and my mohawk was up, all of a sudden I felt wads of paper hitting my hair, as you proceeded to use my hawk as a backboard. The rest is history, we became inseparable for years to come. You became one of my best friends.
I was talking to Rob the other day and he was reminiscing of us always hanging out in your basement and we would chat for hours, He said you were a good guy and how you always looked out for me. This doesn't seem real. Through the years we've always stayed in touch, I just looked in my phone and the last text was you wishing me a happy birthday, it's so hard to believe I won't be able to talk to you again. My heart is broken, I will miss you dearly.
