Garry Dean Beaty's Obituary
Garry Dean Beaty, 68, of Rhoadesville, died Monday, December 27, 2021 at his home. He was born March 31, 1953 in Alexandria to the late Lyle and Dorothy Beaty.
Garry was a plumber for over 50 years, and retired from George Mason University. He was a member of the Culpeper Cruisers and the Front Royal Moose Lodge. He was an avid hunter, fisher and all around outdoorsman. Garry was a great husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Dorothy E. Beaty; five children, Deanna M. Creekmore (John), Warren D. Beaty (Donna), John E. Boswell (Heather), Ashley N. Beaty, and Benjamin A. Beaty; seven grandchildren, Andrew W. Paniagua, Selena M. Paniagua, Sylvia C. Paniagua, Cheyenne D. Howdyshell, C.J. Beaty, Jaxson E. Boswell, and Gage E. Boswell; and seven great grandchildren, Kyrie, Ava, Zakai, Zamyah, Addelyn, Waverly, and Gracie; four siblings, Mary Ellen Cameron (Lynn), Wesley L. Beaty, Robert “Earl” Beaty, Donnie Beaty (Linda); two brothers-in-law, Eddie Clements and Floyd Merbach; a special niece, Hailey Tackett (Zach); and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Garry is preceded in death by four siblings, Edith Clements, Kenneth Beaty, Roberta “Merle” Merbach, and his twin brother, Berkley Gene Beaty.
A visitation will take place Saturday, January 1, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA, with Rev. David Brown officiating.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, January 2, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel.
Interment will follow at Old Leeds Cemetery in Markham, VA.
