Garland Lee Johnson, Jr.'s Obituary
Garland Lee Johnson, Jr. 36, of Rixeyville, died on Monday, August 18, 2008 at his residence. He was born on June 30, 1972 to the late Garland Lee Johnson, Sr. and Carolyn Elaine Jenkins Johnson.
Garland loved his music. He was an avid guitar player, movie buff and enjoyed watching television. Above all he was a family man and cherished his wife and siblings.
He is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn Yvonne Richardson, three siblings, Pam Herndon and her husband Steve, James Johnson and his wife, Melanie and Richard Johnson of Jeffersonton, his grandmother, Otella Jenkins of Culpeper, brother-in-law, Leon Johnson of Rixyeville, sister-in-law, Rosa Dorsey of Blatensburg, MD, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, James L. Jenkins and William and Ruth Johnson.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 24, 2008 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 25, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor Sanders officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Steve Herndon, Sr., Steve Herndon, Jr., Steve Baldwin, Chris Proudfoot, Jack Jenkins and Shawn Goolsby.
