Gale Lynn Hays' Obituary
Gale Lynn Hays, 65, of Culpeper, died Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Novant Health Systems UVA Culpeper Hospital. She was born March 22, 1957 in Bethesda, MD to the late Jack Orndorff and Nancy Rash.
Gale was a hard worker who was always thinking of others before herself. She loved her family, especially her little grandbabies, who were her world. She was a beautiful person, inside and out.
Gale is survived by her husband of 37 years, Kenneth Allen Hays; three children, Christina Pacheco (José), Steven Hillard, and Kimberly Jenkins (Michael Stelmach); grandchildren, Jessica Hillard, Austin Hillard, Vanessa Pacheco, Damien Jenkins, Chloe Jenkins, and one on the way; great grandchildren, Mia Mohr, Ava Mohr, and Koda Mohr; and siblings, Ann Surguy (Tim), Earlene Orndorff (Walter), Tammy Orndorff, and Mark Dennison (Beth).
In addition to her parents, Gale is preceded in death by one brother, Robert Talbot.
A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 80 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Pastor Kenneth Woods officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
