Frederick Ronald Loughry Sr.'s Obituary
Frederick Ronald Loughry, Sr., 72, of Spotsylvania County, passed away Monday, January 15, 2024 at his home.
Frederick retired from the United States Air Force and then worked at Quantico Marine Base for more than 24 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Frederick is survived by his wife, Un Sun “Christine” Choe Loughry; three children, Julie Williams (Raymond), Nancy Jones (Cody), and Frederick, Jr. (Karen); siblings, Dessi Hall, Donald Loughry (Nancy), Everett “Butch” Loughry (Linda), and Richard Loughry (Linda); grandchildren, Kylee, Koen, Kai, Karter, Aaliyah, Alyssa, Jacob, Ava, Taryn, Troy, Amya, Nolan, Cole, Avery, Jackson, Amelia, Eleanor, and Ada; one great-grandchild, Colbie; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elihugh and Myrtle Loughry; and several siblings.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Mt. Olivet Methodist Church, 7676 Stubbs Bridge Road, Spotsylvania, VA.
