Fred W. Browning's Obituary
Fred W. “Brownie” Browning, 93, of Fredericksburg, passed away peacefully and went to his heavenly home on Friday, October 22, 2021.
He was the proud owner of Browning Auto Body in Manassas for 37 years. Fred and his sons started the family business in 1977. He had a passion for all things Ford and loved spending time with his friends and family.
Fred is survived by his wife, Linda; his five children, Jimmy Browning (Elsie), Bobby Browning (Pam), Jeannie Watson (Tom), Steve Browning (Bonnie) and Debbie Browning; ten grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter; and his sisters, Martha and Helen.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, who he was married to for 63 years, Gladys; a son, Fred W. Browning, Jr.; and six siblings.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. He will be interred at a later date at Mount Comfort Cemetery.
