Franklin Manuel Marquis' Obituary
Franklin Manuel Marquis, 54, died Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at University Medical Center. He was the husband of Roxann Ellis Marquis. He was born on May 5, 1953 to the late Manuel and Margie Ettle Workman Marquis of Beckley, West VA.
He loved other people and they loved him. He was kind hearted and devoted to his family. He loved animals and was well known for telling good jokes.
In addition to his wife he is survived by three sons, Kevin Marquis of Beckley, WVA, Cory Marquis of Culpeper, Ryan Marquis of Culpeper, two daughters Mitzi Marquis of Beckley, WVA and Heather Owens, and her husband, Shaun of Warrenton, seven grandchildren, Kaula, Alyssa, Riley and Gavin Owens, Brendan Jenkins, Victoria Marquis and Millie Roberts, two brothers John Hunt of White Oak, WVA, Stevie Moore of Ravens Cliff, WVA, one sister Brenda Moore of Pineville, WVA.
The family will receive friends Sunday, July 8, 2007 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel.
A funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Evangelist David Haught officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
