Frank David Marino Sr.'s Obituary
Frank D. Marino, 68, of Spotsylvania County, passed away Friday, January 16, 2026 at his home.
He was born in Washington, D.C., and spent his life rooted in the DMV area he called home. He proudly served in the United States Army as a helicopter mechanic and was honorably discharged, carrying that sense of duty and quiet pride with him throughout his life.
After his military service, Frank built a long career with the Central Intelligence Agency. He was dedicated to his work, but his greatest joy was always his family. After retiring, he found peace in the simple things he loved most, hunting, fishing, and time spent outdoors, often alongside the people he cared about most.
Frank was a devoted husband to his wife, Pamela Marino, and a loving father to his son, Frank Marino, and daughter, Mary Elizabeth Harrah. He was also a proud father-in-law to Haylee Marino and Randy Harrah. Nothing brought him more happiness than being “Grandpa” to his grandchildren, Frank Clark, Winnie Evergreen, Harmony Indigo, Georgina Fern, Redmund Dunn, and one unborn grandchild, each of whom held a special place in his heart.
Frank will be remembered for his service to his country, his steady presence, and the love he had for his family. He leaves behind a legacy of loyalty, strength, and quiet moments shared with those he loved most.
The family will receive friends from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, where the funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. in Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Road, Triangle, VA.
