Francis Joseph Seifert's Obituary
Frank Seifert, 86, of Fredericksburg passed away peacefully Saturday, February 27, 2016.
Frank was an avid fisherman, who also enjoyed tennis, playing pool, boating, swimming, and bowling.
Mr. Seifert served during the Korean War as a Corporal in the U.S. Army from 1951-1952. After serving his country, Frank had a rewarding career as a mechanical designer in New York.
Frank is survived by his beloved children, Kathryn de Vocht (Ian) of Vienna and McLean, Maryellen Covais (Sal) of Florida, and Jimmy Seifert (Roberta) of Colorado; beloved sister, Margaret “Peggy” Volpe (Gary) of Florida; cherished grandchildren, Rainy, Charlie, Julia, and Nicole; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 53 years, Kathryn R. Seifert.
A memorial gathering will be held from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg.
