Frances Addair Sullivan's Obituary
Frances Addair Musselman-Sullivan, a kind and gentle soul left this earth Wednesday, April 13, 2011 to spend eternity in heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ.
Frances was a homemaker while here on earth, giving love, kindness and Christian guidance to all who came into her life. She was born on November 3, 1936 in West Virginia to Marshall and Chloe Deskins Addair who went to heaven before her.
Although she had lived in Stafford County since her teen years, she always called West Virginia home. She was a talented musician who played the guitar and various other stringed instruments and sang beautifully until her last days. She could sing anything but “mountain music” was her favorite and she took pride in her heritage.
She had such great pride for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Frances is survived by her daughter, Theresa M. Boutchyard and her husband, Richard; her two sons, H. Wesley Musselman and his wife, Pam and Scott M. Musselman and his wife, Melissa; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren with another one due in June and numerous nieces and nephews.
She came from a large family of which three sisters remain, Ruby Love of Caroline County, Josephine Jett of Spotsylvania County and Shirley Jones of Roanoke.
Frances was preceded in death by her late husband, Wayne Sullivan; and three sisters and two brothers, who all went to heaven before her.
Frances’ family will receive friends Sunday, April 17, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held Monday, April 18, 2011 at 11:00 am at Ramoth Baptist Church with Pastor Brent Vickery officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
