Frances Ann Smith's Obituary
Frances Ann Smith, 72, of Culpeper died Monday, July 20, 2015 at her residence. She was born December 20, 1942 in Rixeyville to the late Ralph Hitt Sr. and Elizabeth Butler Hitt.
She is survived by her husband, James W. Smith; her children, Sandy Wenzel and Chris Smith of Oklahoma, and Vickie Sowers and Ricky Robold of Culpeper; grandchildren, Brandon and Adrian Wenzel of Unionville, Shawn, Lesley, Justin and Bethany Wenzel of Oklahoma, Jessica Pritt and Megan Cubbage of Culpeper, Kristyonna Smith of Oklahoma and Kandis Sowers of Charlottesville; great grandchildren, Zoie, Kenna and Maddisyn Wenzel, Reagan Pritt and Chase Cubbage; and two brothers, Kelly and Charlie Hitt.
In addition to her parents Frances was preceeded in death by her siblings; Ralph Hitt, Talmage Hitt, Harry Lee and Harvey Hitt, Edna Cooper and Rachel McBride.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 11am at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper with Pastor Steve Dodson officiating.
