Frances Ferris Rutherford's Obituary
Frances Ferris Rutherford, 80, of Culpeper passed away peacefully Saturday April 2, 2016 at UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville. She was born February 15, 1936 in Culpeper to the late Jesse Ferris and Viola Booten Ferris. She was predeceased by her husband Elmer Rutherford.
Frances is survived by her siblings; Russell Ferris and his wife Marie of Culpeper; Lucille Keys of Washington, D.C. and Sallie Slaughter and her husband William also of Culpeper.
In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by four brothers Jesse B. Ferris, Hugh S. Ferris, Frank Ferris and James Ferris.
The family will receive friends Friday April 8, 2016 from 6 to 8 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday April 9, 2016 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel at 12:00 PM with Rev. Nathaniel Butler and Rev. Ernest Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery in Reva, VA .
