Frances Morris Clatterbuck Edwards' Obituary
Frances Morris Clatterbuck Edwards, 92, of Culpeper passed away peacefully at Culpeper Health and Rehab Center on Wednesday February 24, 2016. She was born April 9, 1923 to the late Harry Bryant Morris and Annie Belle Jones Morris.
Frances was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a long time member of Bible Baptist Church. She was a loving Christian lady with a beautiful, friendly smile that touched everyone’s heart.
She is survived by two daughters, Virginia Smoot of Rixeyville and Doris Smoot of Culpeper; one son, Larmond Clatterbuck and his wife Wanda of Luray; two stepchildren, Marion Edwards and his wife, Brenda of Culpeper and Maryanna Clatterbuck of Culpeper; and two sisters, Helen Miles of Charlottesville and Nancy Fisher of Bumpass, VA.; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 18 great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph G. Edwards; one stepson, Charles Edwards; one sister Eva Mae Bober; and 4 brothers, Harry Morris, James Morris, Charles Morris, and Russell Morris.
The family will receive friends Sunday, February 28, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels and Cremation Service 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
A funeral service will be held Monday, February 29, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Found and Sons Chapel with Rev. Bruce Fincham officiating.
Interment will follow at Culpeper National Cemetery (Old Section).
Pallbearers will be Mark McKim, Michael Mozingo, Chad Mozingo, Marion Edwards, Jason Edwards, Eric Jenkins and Timothy Clatterbuck.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Heritage Baptist Church, 19343 Carpenters Branch Rd. Brandy Station, VA 22714.
