Frances Ann Menefee Brooks' Obituary
Frances Ann Menefee Brooks, 65, of Culpeper died Friday, December 13, 2013 at Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born January 24, 1948 in Rappahannock County to the late Laney B. Menefee and Corine Wharton Menefee.
Frances was a member of Mountain View Community Church and attended City on a Hill Church in Culpeper.
She is survived by two children, William Monroe Brooks, Jr. and his wife, Alice of Culpeper and Tracey Lynn Heflin and her husband, Donnie of Orange; grandchildren, Tiffany A. Brooks, Dakota W. Heflin, Chad Eugene Brooks and Dante C. Brooks. Also survived by her brothers, James W. Menefee and his wife, Peggy, George W. Menefee and his wife, Sally; her sisters, Betty A. Settle, Juanita Kenney and her husband, Larry and Ruby M. Banks; and her beloved little “Patches”.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Corine Elizabeth Brooks; and one infant sister, Patricia Sharon Menefee.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 20, 2013 at 2 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
