Floyd Neal Halverson
Floyd Neal Halverson, 53 of Brandy Station, died August 23, 2012 at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond.
Floyd was born January 21, 1959 in Fort Ord, California to the late Richard LeRoy and Ramona Darlene Schultz Halverson.
Floyd greatly enjoyed his family and friends especially playing and spending time with his grandchildren, tinkering and working on electronics, he was also a very proud former member of the Salem Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department.
Floyd is survived by his wife Lauri Ann Halverson and her two daughters, Elizabeth Marie Miller and her husband Michael of Middleburg and Heather Lynne Plemmons of Culpeper, three grandchildren, London Parker Hicks Miller, Zachary Allen King and Taylor Ann Marcoux.
Also surviving are his seven siblings; Linda Ouellette, Mona Halverson, Debi Davis, Ricky Halverson, Scott Halverson, Vicki Garufi and Shari Olbon and numerous nieces, nephews and close friends and loved ones.
The family will receive friends from 2-4pm on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels of Culpeper, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
A Funeral service will be held at 11am on Monday, August 27, 2012 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels of Culpeper with the Rev. Sharon Forbes officiating.
Interment will follow at the Woodland United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made in his name to the Woodland United Methodist Church, Woodland Church Rd, Rt 616 and/or the Salem Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department, P.O. Box 1254, Culpeper, Virginia 22701.
