Florine Yowell Aylor's Obituary
Florine Yowell Aylor, 93, of Culpeper died Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Culpeper Regional Hospital. She was born May 24, 1919 in Madison to the late Gilbert Yowell and Virgie Clark.
Mrs. Aylor was a lifelong resident of this area and a longtime member of Madison Lutheran Church. She enjoyed spending time dancing at the Senior Center and loved working in her yard and tending to her azaleas and rose bushes. Mrs. Aylor crocheted many afghans and ran a business with her husband moving mobile homes. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children; Ruby Horvath of Culpeper, Charles Aylor and his wife, Terry of KY, Jennifer Chandler of Locust Grove, John Aylor and his wife, Sue of WV; her half sister, Lucy Coppedge of Madison; her grandchildren, Tim Brown of Washington, VA, Craig Frazier of Culpeper and Beverly Frazier of FL and many other grandchildren; great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 from 6 to 8 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 11 am at Novum Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Light officiating.
