Florence D. Sherbondy's Obituary
Florence D. Sherbondy, 82, of Culpeper, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025. She was born January 14, 1943, to the late Jessie Quinn and Irene Byrd.
Florence was known for her love of her family, friends and community.
Florence is survived by her daughters, Lois Foreman (Mark), Jeannie Sanford (Jimmy), Brenda Bright-Knarr (Eric), and Renne Scott; grandchildren, James Rose, Amanda Rose, Crystal Grey (David), Alysia Myers (James), Dan Bright (Taylor), Ryan Kirk, and Kody Kirk; great grandchildren, LeAnn Rose, Caleigh Rose, Jonathan Rose, Jalen Woodward, Tyler Rose, Layla Rose, Amber Newton, Ashley Newton, Anabelle Myers, Juliana Myers, and Pierce Bright; sister, Mary LaBounty (John); and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Florence is preceded in death by her husband, James Sherbondy; grandson, Jonathan Rose; great-granddaughter, Faith Rose; and siblings, Virginia, Buddy, and Jean.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 1, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jane Schaidt and Pastor Thomas Woodward officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Rt. 522, Culpeper, VA with Pastor Ed Schaidt officiating.
Immediately following the Interment, a Celebration of Life will be held at the Brandy Station Fire Department, 19601 Church Road, Brandy Station, VA.
