Fannie Frazier's Obituary
Fannie Estelle Colvin Frazier, 97, formerly of Culpeper lived with and was cared for by Faye Pollard-Wiseman passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Britthaven of Washington Nursing Home in Washington, NC. She was born in Orange County on November 29, 1912 to the late Willie Marron and Hetty Alice Powell Colvin.
She graduated from Earlysville High School and was married to the late Allen Frazier on September 1, 1937. Before moving to North Carolina, she resided in Annandale and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Baileys Crossroads.
She is survived by one brother, William G. Colvin of Culpeper, one sister, Dolly C. Jones of Culpeper, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper with Rev. Michael Walters officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 pm until service time.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will have a reception immediately following the committal service at Found and Sons Chapel.
