Falmer Temple Carr's Obituary
Falmer Brooks Carr, 95 formerly of Lake Anna passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Carriage Hill Nursing Home.
Before entering Carriage Hill, Mrs. Carr resided at her home on Courthouse Road for 74 years, then made her home with her beloved Granddaughter and caregiver, Donna Trainham-Martin who with her husband Rick had lovingly cared for her since the death of her husband, Herman Carr in 1985.
A homemaker and member of Edgewood Christian Church, Lake Anna, she was the last survivor of eight children born to Edward A. and Alma Wheeler Brooks.
Those left behind to mourn her loss, but cherish her memory are her daughter, Faye Carr Wheeler and husband Albert; her cherished granddaughter and caregiver, Donna Trainham-Martin and husband Ricky; two great-grandsons, Chad R. and Shane M. Martin and the apple of her eye, her great-great granddaughter Taylor A. Martin; her favorite beloved sister-in-law, Gloria Brooks and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday August 17, 2012 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel – Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. Burial will be private.
