I remember going in to Spiedel's as a child.I remember Max and his cigars.I used to tag along with my cousin, Margie Ann which meant I got to go with her and Betty to the Seaton home. Max, Leta and family were always very welcoming. Max had a stern exterior and a very warm heart.I am so sorry for your loss and pray for each of you during this difficult time.

Aunt Leta, I can't tell you how sad I am to hear about uncle Max's passing. I have thought of you both often. Many times I have told the story of how I locked myself in the men's room in Speidel's when I was about 8 and uncle Max rescued me from what I was sure would be the end of me by working the key loose and sliding it under the door to get me out.
