Evelyn Alice Payne's Obituary
Evelyn Alice Payne, 95, of Falls Church passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Heritage Hall and Rehabilitation Center in Leesburg. She was born in Stevensburg, VA to the late Clement and Florence Barker Long
She is survived by three children, David Michael Payne and his wife, Nanci of Elkins,WV, Bonnie Carolyn Everett and her husband, Grover of Deltona, FL, and Gaye Ellen Lamb and her husband, William of Front Royal; daughter-in-law, Barbara of Ashburn, VA; one sister, Mamie Bailey of LeMesa, TX; six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel Mason Payne; her youngest child, Douglas A. Payne; and eight siblings.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 22, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bill Lamb, Brandon Lamb, Grover Everett, David M. Payne, Jr., Christopher Payne, and Dean Bittle. Honorary pallbearer will be Tom McAllister.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the church or charity of your choice.
