Evelyn Dorit Johnson's Obituary
Evelyn Dorit Johnson, 71 of Fredericksburg died Friday July 5, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family.
Evelyn was a member of the Black Oaks Regular Baptist Church.
She is survived by her two daughters, Cindy Compton and her husband, Bob McClure of Fredericksburg and Rena McDaniel and her husband, Greg of Bristow; four grandchildren, Vinny DeFranks, Tony DeFranks, Marissa Dobrick, all of Bristow and Tyler Compton and his wife, Lexi of Hawaii; and two great-grandchildren, Chase and Brentley Compton, both of Hawaii.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Johnson.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Black Oaks Regular Baptist Church, 10532 Eggbornsville Rd., Rixeyville.
In lieu of flowers, Evelyn’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations in her name to Mary Washington Home Health & Hospice, 5012 Southpoint Pkwy, Fredericksburg, VA 22407.
