Jane
Uncle Greg, Ken, Veronica, Jen, Chris, and Erica,
I'm sorry to be so late in writing to you guys. Thank you for sharing Aunt Evelin with me. There is no one I have ever encountered with such a spirit. (I tried for about ten minutes to find an appropriate adjective to insert before spirit, but truly there is no one word that can do her justice). Aunt Evelin not only compelled me to change my life, she also help save it. No church service I have been to holds a candle to the sacred few hours I was privileged to spend with her a few weeks ago. Yesterday, as I sat in the sun for the first time this Spring, my friend said, "why do you smile so much today?" My answer was just to keep smiling. I told Erica Aunt Evelin was like the first day of Spring, and I felt that yesterday.
I'm grateful we all had the opportunity to love and be loved by Aunt Evelin. Again, thank you guys for sharing her. Each one of you carry a unique trait from her. (I'm writing those letters). My thoughts are with you all. Love you! Jane
