Eva Jane Brown's Obituary
Eva Jane Brown, nee Barfield, 82, of Culpeper, VA died Monday, February 21, 2022. She was born March 24, 1939, in Culpeper to the late Jack and Margurite Barfield.
Eva is survived by her husband of 64 years, Leon Franklin “L.F.” Brown; daughters, Janet Jennings (Dewayne) and Ellen Canestrano (Mark); siblings, Frances Racer (Bob), Marion Dodson, Kaye Inskeep, and Charles Barfield (Patty); grandchildren, Jack Jennings (Erin), Clay Jennings, and Sam Canestrano, one great grandson, Cooper Jennings, and her sister-in-law, J.J. Barfield. Eva is also survived by many family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Eva is preceded in death by her siblings, Tony Barfield, Ed Barfield, and Anne Barfield.
A funeral service will be held Friday, February 25, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Culpeper United Methodist Church, 122 Oaklawn Drive, Culpeper, VA 22701 with Pastor John Hemming officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. Facial coverings are strongly recommended.
Interment will follow in Culpeper National Cemetery, 305 US Avenue, Culpeper, VA 22701.
