Eva Allen's Obituary
Eva Allen passed away on February 27, 2026 at the Blue Ridge Hospice House in Winchester, VA. She was born November 17, 1961 to William & Florence Allen in Washington, DC where she lived until the late 80’s when she moved to Virginia where she worked as a prep cook at The Culpeper for 27 years.
She is survived by her three children; Johnathan Allen (Becky), Richard Allen, and Johnita Allen (fiance’, Sharneda Glascoe); nine grandchildren; Gabriella Harrington, Jayceon Sykes, Johnathen Allen, Jr., Isabella Martin, Katia Arstino, Destinee Lucas, Amiya Gradner-Harris, Jairus Johnson-Gardner and Josyiah Glascoe, one brother, William Allen (Ann) and two sisters; Virglene Jackson and Freida Lucas.
She was preceded in death by her husband John S. Hackley; her parents, William & Florence Allen; brother, Russell and sisters, Maxine, Delores, Annie & Carlita.
She will always be remembered for being the peacemaker, loving, nurturing and so welcoming.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, Va. For those who cannot attend, the family invites you to join online at https://together.oneroomstreaming.com/LHCK6T
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, Va.
