Eunice Meredith Tabor's Obituary
Eunice Tabor, 98, of Manassas, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, July 27, 2010.She was born in Kentucky on May 7, 1912, to the late Thomas and Eliza Meredith. In 1931, she married her beloved husband Alton L. Tabor. During the Great Depression they came to the Washington, DC area in search of work and to raise their family. Mrs. Tabor was a woman of deep faith that will be remembered by her family for her strength in prayer. She loved to garden and quilt, and was a long time member of the Berean Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alton L. Tabor, and her son Ronald L. Tabor.Survivors include her daughter, Betty Clarkson and husband Bill; six grandchildren, Debbie Vandiviere, Don Banker, Jason Tabor, Becky Lambert, Ronnie Tabor and Jeanne Clarkson; daughter-in-law, Anne Tabor; eighteen great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 31st at 10 AM, with visitation one hour prior to service, at the Found & Sons Lee Funeral Chapel, 8521 Sudley Rd. Manassas, VA 20109.
