Eunice Lavinia "Aunt Benny" Whorton's Obituary
Eunice Lavinia “Aunt Benny” Whorton, 80, of Amissville died Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Winchester Medical Center. She was born March 16, 1936 in Amissville to the late Henry and Lillie Cloud Whorton.
Eunice was well loved and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her niece and nephews whom she was instrumental in raising, Betty Brown, Jerry Brown and Jimmy Brown; two sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; and a host of other nieces and nephews who were very special to her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Sperryville Cemetery with Rev. J.T. Pittman officiating.
