Eunice Glazman's Obituary
Eunice S. Glazman
Eunice Siegal Glazman passed away Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008, in Fredericksburg.
Mrs. Glazman was born to Mike and Rose Siegal in Birmingham, Ala., on May 8, 1916, and grew up on their family farm in Springville, Ala. She was formerly, and for most of her adult life, a resident of Birmingham.
Mrs. Glazman was the widow of Nathan Glazman, a veteran of World War II, who passed away in 2000. She also was predeceased by a brother, Maurice.
Mrs. Glazman came to live in Fredericksburg that same year to be closer to her sons, Alan and Jon. She was a member of Beth Sholom Temple in Fredericksburg, and was formerly a member of Temple Emanu-El in Birmingham.
Mrs. Glazman is survived by her son, Alan and his wife, Ellen, of Fredericksburg, and her son, Jon and his wife, Marsha, of Greensboro, N.C. In addition, she is survived by three grandchildren, Emily Glazman of Fredericksburg, Chan Glazman of Athens, Ga., and Hilary Rieck and her husband, John, of Charleston, S.C.
Mrs. Glazman also is survived by her sister, Mrs. Fred Jacobson of Huntsville, Ala., and her four sons. She leaves to mourn, too, so very many devoted cousins scattered throughout the South--their love was sustenance to her and to the rest of her family now.
