Eugene Eldon Sisk's Obituary
Eugene Eldon Sisk, 75 of Elkwood, VA died Friday, June 4, 2010 at his residence surrounded by his family. Mr. Sisk was born March 17, 1935 in Madison County to the late Eldon William and Florene Mae Nicholson Sisk.
Eugene was a hard worker, who owned and operated Sisk Tree Service. He loved fishing and hunting, but most of all he was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Mr. Sisk is survived by his wife of 53 years, Shirley Fincham Sisk of Elkwood, two daughters, Karen Faye Sisk and Linda Sisk Bradley, both of Culpeper.
He is also survived by one brother, James Sisk of Inlet and two sisters, Margaret Sisk of Madison and Elaine Faulkner and her husband, Ronnie of Culpeper.
Additional survivors include four grandchildren, Christie Andrade and her husband, Carlos; George Woodard III, all of Sperryville, Rachel Sisk and Jeremy Bradley, both of Culpeper; and four great grandchildren, Kelsey, Tavon, Kailee and Angelina Andrade; and Scottie Curtis, who was like the son he never had.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Laverne Sisk Woodard, one brother, Leroy Sisk and one sister, Gloria Mae Callahan.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 8, 2010 from 6-8 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 2 pm in Found and Sons Chapel with the Rev. Charles Clinedinst officiating.
Interment will follow in Etlan Cemetery.
Pallbearers named are Ronnie Jenkins, Brian Craft, Jamie Sisk, Tony Sisk, Bucky Sisk and George Woodard, Jr.
