Uncle Gene had a wonderful eye in composing beautiful images of Family and of nature. Some of his photos were prize winning. His artworks were amazing no matter the format. I remember fabulous hand painted wall size Disney characters and scenes in Patty's and Donna's bedrooms when we were growing up. They looked as if Walt Disney drew them himself. He also drew many portraits in charcoal and one of them hangs in my living room of his sister , my Mom, holding her new born son. His artistic skills are now adorning the walls of heaven as his god given talents have come home.

Whenever family gathered ,Gene would capture the most beautiful moments with his camera . Within days a package would appear in the mailbox of the smiles he captured. In his quiet way he reminded us of our love for one another and the joy we shared when together. His pictures grace our homes and in each a piece of Gene remains with us .
