My heart goes out to Gene's family I know how difficult this time is because we recently lost my mom who used to love to play cards with Gene. They gave eachother such a hard time but they were truly great friends. Please enjoy the fun memories that no one can take from you.
Sincerely,
Jo Knight
Gary,
Sorry to hear about your dad. He'll live in your memories.
And to you Kathy also.
Best,
Debbie DeHart
Donald, Gary and family, I am so very sorry for the loss of your dad. He was one of the first surveyors I met thru working in the Commissioner of the Revenue's office in 1974 in Stafford. He was such a pleasure to work with. Then when he married Mary, I was so excited for them. They had so many things in common and always would share their fishing stories.Mary was also a very dear person and friend. I also met her from working here. I will never forget the time she fried us a huge plate of her famous fried oysters and brought them into the office. The picture in the obituary was the exact picture I have of him since years ago. Please hold on to all of the wonderful memories you have of him as not only family but I am sure you have lots of memories from working with him in surveying aspect as well. I will dearly miss him. He and Mr Vance were two of my favorites.
Sincerely, Linda Gillispie
The Kniseley family is in our thoughts and prayers. Gene and Mary had lots of fun doing things with Mom and Dad, Joe & Barbara Duffey, fishing, playing cards and working in the church. Gene was a match maker with getting Bob and me together. Our families will miss our loved ones who have gone to be with the Lord, but if they can't have quality of life, and are suffering, it's easier to let them go. Unfortunately, I will be attending my cousin's funeral the same time of Gene's funeral. You'll be in my thoughts. Love and prayers, Becky & Bob Coffman
Thoughts and prayers are with the Kniseley family. Gene will surely be missed, a part of Fredericksburg history is at rest.
