Eugene Roule Hord's Obituary
Eugene (Gene) Roule Hord, age 78 of Spotsylvania, Va passed away on Sunday May 4, 2025 after a long battle with cancer and other numerous health issues. Gene was born on July 2, 1946 in Washington D.C.
Gene was a member of I.B.E.W. Local 26 for 55 years and owner operator of Gene Hord Guide Service on Lake Anna for over 20 years.
Gene is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sallye Ann Hord; sister, Karen Dunlap; children, Eric, Gregory, and Heather; and grandchildren, Austin, Logan, Koen, and Adelynn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene R. and Mercedes C. Hord; and a sister, Holly Job.
The family would like to thank our friends for all the love and support over these last few difficult years.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
