Eugene Arley Estes' Obituary
Eugene Arley Estes, 91, of Culpeper, VA died Monday, October 18, 2021 at Martha Jefferson Hospital. He was born August 22, 1930 in Rappahannock, VA to the late Ralph and Juliette Estes.
Arley began his career in banking as a bank teller. After graduating from Washington, VA High School he continued his education through financial courses at the University of Virginia and eventually retired as a senior loan officer/manager. Arley is a US Army veteran having served his country during the Korean War.
Arley is survived by his sister in law, Ruth Butler as well as additional family members.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Rachel Coughlin Estes.
A graveside service will be held Monday, October 25, 2021 at 2 pm at Fairview Cemetery.
Memorial contribution may be made in Arley’s name to Gourdvine Baptist Church, 7103 Eggbornsville Road, Rixeyville, VA 22737.
